Our Supervisors are required to provide professional operational and performance management of all internal Operational staff and external sub-contractors employed by the Company.


They are responsible for ensuring that all work is completed and complies with current industry and legislation standards, Company Policies & Procedures and key performance targets are achieved to a high standard.

Basic salary Circa £34,180
Full Time (37 hours per week)

Purpose / key responsibilities:


1. Responsible for planning, programming, organising and carrying out property surveys, preparing schedules, detailed specifications and technical reports to comply with agreed standards and relevant legislation.


2. Responsible for the organization and deployment of staff and sub contractors employed by the company, including performance management, conduct, grievance and discipline, induction, training and staff development, controlling and monitoring productivity and performance levels, and quality of work.


3. Responsible for creating orders, issuing to private or in-house contractors, maintaining detailed, accurate written and electronic records of all work.


4. Carry out pre andpost inspections ensuring the works are in full compliance with the requirements of client and company specifications and legislation.


5. Responsible for determining accuracy, validating, authorising, auditing all documentation and electronic records.


6. Responsible via computerised management systems for monitoring all completed orders against local and national performance indicators.


7. Responsible for planning, organising and conducting all contract meetings including liaising with other departments, contractors, partners and agencies to provide a co-ordinated approach and satisfactory quality completion of the required works within the specific timescales and to budget.


8. Responsible for communicating effectively with contractors, partners and internal skilled operatives on site to ensure satisfactory completion of the required works. This will involve providing technical and practical guidance.

9. To respond verbally, in writing and or face-to-face, requests for information from customers, clients, utility providers, and other internal departments.

10. Responsible for providing specialist information on statutory regulations and/or company service provision.


11. Responsible for maintaining knowledge of relevant legislation, new products and equipment etc, contribute to the identification, development, evaluation and introduction of new materials, working practices and techniques.


Requirements:


If You Hold a Full UK Driving License and have experience of:

  • Providing Supervision, preferably within a busy Responsive Maintenance team
  • Managing multidiscipline teams
  • Achieving set KPI's
  • Adapting flexibly to changing work environments
  • Demonstrating Computer literacy in relation to Microsoft Office packages
