Earnings:

The main requirements are for you to have/be:

  • To work with mínimal supervision, independently or as part of a team, supporting trades staff in clearing and cleaning a site in order to allow the project to proceed and meet timescales set.
  • To maintain a thorough knowledge and understanding of relevant specifications or project requirements; the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974; C.O.S.H.H. Regulations along with Codes of Practice and other relevant legislation within the Company's Health & Safety Policy. This knowledge is required to be able to carryout work safely and deliver a service which meets all contractual requirements. To comply with all Health and Safety legislation; CDM regulations with a responsibility for own and others' health, safety and welfare. To work within detailed risk assessments and method statements.
  • To accurately complete all relevant internal and external documentation such as timesheets, vehicle inspection sheets, material requisitions, job completion sheets etc to ensure legal requirements are adhered to and accurate financial/property records are maintained in an auditable system. This may also involve using technology such as handheld computers.
  • To complete minor elements of repair work such as removing coat hooks and subsequently filling holes in plaster work and garden clearance/maintenance.
  • To clean appliances such as mobile cooking units so they can be reused.
  • Clean and treat areas of mould on affected surfaces.
  • Carry out remedial works associated with damp and mould for examples remove and reseal window frames, remove and replace affected grout, replace plastic trim laths around window/door frames.
  • To promote a good service image for the Company.
