**Company Overview

Starting Off are delighted to be working with the largest grower and distributor of turf in the UK. Turf is grown at the two farms located in Norfolk and Lancashire. From there it is harvested and despatched for next day delivery across the UK. Onbusy days over the Spring and Summer the Feltwell harvest team can harvest up to 50-70,000m2 in a day, with lorries leaving the sites. Our client has an in-house fleet of 15 lorries and utilises external haulage and pallet networks.

Job Duties**:


  • Training in all aspects of the transport function including routing, servicing & costings
  • Customer care, website operation, supplier management.
  • Use IT to provide admin solutions to the transport and customer service department.
  • Complete general office admin duties.
  • Liaise with different departments including IT & Accounts, Harvest Teams, marketing & workshops
  • Liaise with different suppliers from all aspects of the business
  • Training within the wider group to assist when needed in all departments.
  • Project work.

**Salary
**£13000- £13,500 per annum
**Hours
**08:30 to 17:00 Monday - Friday 40 hours per week

Qualifications:


  • Access to the Transport Manager Combined CPC qualification
  • Business Administration Level 3 apprenticeship training with Starting Off.
