CAMHS Clayfields Health Team - Operational Team Lead.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Operational Team Lead in Nottinghamshire CAMHS Clayfields Health Team. This post has become available due to natural progression. Support from the previous Team Lead, and a handover can be arranged.


Clayfields House is a national provider of secure accommodation for 20 young people between the ages of 10 to 18 who are on remand, sentenced, placed on welfare grounds or are secure overnight under PACE 1984 legislation.

The service is part of Nottinghamshire County Council.

The Clayfields Health Team provide various health interventions holistically and have a varied multi-disciplinary team. This team works in collaboration with the Clayfields Senior Leadership Team (SLT), education, and support staff.

You will work closely with Clayfields SLT and MDT, to lead with clinical pathways therapeutic support. You will consider the present team, and strategy to drive the future vision and transformation in the team.

The Clayfields Health Team is commissioned by NHS England Specialist Commissioning, and therefore the importance of developing and fostering positive working relationships with key stakeholders is essential.


The Operational Team Lead will steer the team to ensure that the delivery of the high quality intervention is offered to young people at Clayfields at all times.

They will lead a multi-disciplinary team, and have the sole responsibility for budgets, operationalise and respond to recruitment needs, support with compliments and complaints, develop quality improvement plans, and offer assurance regarding the performance of the team.

You will ensure that there are strong relationships with CAMHS Team Leads and interface particularly with Head to Head and FCAMHS services.

You will be required to contribute the Clayfields on-call health rota. Details of this can be sought at the time of interview or through request with Sarah Grainger Service Manager.
