    The RoleTransitions Officer – Custody Client Services Junior (with either 1-2-year's Client Services, or Settlements, or KYC Client Onboarding experience)Martis Search is representing a global City of London Bank, to hire a permanent "Transitions Officer – Custody Client Services Junior (with either 1-2-year's Client Services experience)."Our client is looking for someone with either 1-2- year's Client Services, or Equity & Fixed Income Settlements, or KYC Client Onboarding experience (who wants to work in Transitions/ Client Services and is client-facing in their current role/ likes to be in their next role), ideally gained from either a Custody perspective, or a reputable Finance Services company.

    The company is based in The City of London and the bank has global locations. The position sits within a sub-division within one of their Custody Operations teams.

    This exciting role is working with (Onboarding of, "transition" of, amendments of and closures of) their prestigious global Hedge Funds, Asset Management clients, onto their Custody business services offerings.

    The role is also hybrid (within a x 4-week period, x 8 days employees are allowed to work from home, so you will be able to work-from, as well as in the office).The company offers great overtime rates and also a pension.

    DEPARTMENT - TransitionsJOB TITLE - Transitions OfficerGRADE - Senior Clerk / OfficerJOB PURPOSE - To arrange the Transition and on boarding of new client accounts, and any subsequent amendments or closures.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIESTransition Management, ensuring timely receipt of all required documentation, liaise with Sales Team and Client Relationship Management and other relevant Company areas.

    Preparation of Service Level Agreement Documents. Updating client records in Company's systems.

    To ensure variation of service or non-standard service requirements are brought to the attention of the Transition manager and the operations staff at the earliest point they are raised to ensure ability to undertakeEnsure the timely and complete receipt of all documentation required for take on of new businessEnsure all documentation is authorised and complete and in place prior to live datePrepare Service Level Agreement documentation for take on of new custody business and to evaluate and enhance documentation process as and when appropriateEnsure all records and systems are updated correctly with information required for processing new business.

    Prepare and send documentation to clients e.g.

    regulatory or notification documentationBe involved in the collection and management of appropriate tax documentation required for clientsCoordinate the completion of legal documentationTo be involved as required in any ongoing KYC and AML documentation requirementsOrganise and attend client visits, document call reports and meetings and identify and follow up on any issues raised as a result of the transition processEnsure that all client records are up to date and confirm on an annual basis to the head of TransitionKeep appraised of market developments and advise clients of changes i.e.

    regulatory, market procedures, settlement and currency deadlines.
    To ensure that all Client static is processed within the Global Custody systems accurately and on a timely basis.
    Ensure review of Transition control documents to maintain integrity - e.g. Master client list.
