    Description

    We are delighted to offer the opportunity for an enthusiastic and passionate Teacher of Science to join our caring and dedicated team from September 2024 on a Full Time, permanent basis.

    Our Science Department consists of committed and professional teams led by experienced, passionate practitioners supported by teachers who possess a variety of experience both within and beyond the Trust. The Science department take a proactive approach, sharing experiences and good practices between colleagues to develop our teaching and learning and own professional development. Collaboration and CPL are of high importance within the Trust therefore a robust programme of CPL will be provided to enable our staff to reach their potential. We would welcome applications from ECTs and more experienced colleagues alike.

    Lees Brook Academy is an 11-18 school based in a modern building with state-of-the-art facilities. We currently have 1,120 students on roll and places a strong emphasis on putting students at the heart of everything we do. We believe that every young person should have the chance to be successful, regardless of their ability or background and are looking for like-minded colleagues to join our team. Situated in Derby, we are easily commutable from locations such as Nottingham, Derbyshire and North Leicestershire.
