    Be responsible for technical definition, engineering deliverables, schedule, cost, quality and risk management aspects up to acceptance of the spacecraft structure sub-system or component as part of the overall system.

    Produce / detail the technical Work Breakdown Structure, the development schedule and technical risk management on sub-system, component or discipline level

    Management of the Satellite Accommodation & Structure definition, Mechanical sub-systems (including structure and mechanism) verification for both in house and sub - contract.

    Supervision of the mechanical analysis team during satellite level environmental testing, including interpret FEM frequency data and test response, liaison to customer, launch service provider, test facilities and project management.

    Responsible for mechanical qualification of sub systems including payloads

    Give guidance and support to the structures RE and design office in order to create 3D models, drawings and documents for satellite integration.

    Industry experience is crucial – Space or aerospace/aircraft/military background

    Demonstrable knowledge and working experience of Mechanical sub-systems (including structure and mechanism) verification for both in house and sub - contract.

    Project team management experience
    Knowledge of the dynamic testing of structural designs to show they are fit for purpose.
