Description
We are working with a local authority in Oldham to find a Senior Auditor on a temporary basis.

Length of role:
Initial 5 months

PAYE rate:
£18.82.

Hybrid working:
In office every Wednesday, and on other ad hoc occasions.


The role:

  • To perform high level reviews, risk based and systems audits, ensuring that working papers and audit reports are compiled in accordance with the standards and procedures set out in the Internal Audit Manual.
  • Arrange own workload and that of Auditors including the allocation of audit assignments from the audit plan to individuals in the absence of the Principal Auditor.
  • To assist in the compilation of the Strategic/Annual Audit Plans and Continual Improvement Projects.
  • Assist with the planning of audits for the designated clients/services and the establishment of clear terms of reference for each assignment.
  • To supervise auditors and provide training and guidance as required.
