We are currently seeking an Employment Assistant - Secondment until 31/07/2025 to join The Bedford College Group at our Bedford Campus.

As an Employment Assistant - Secondment until 31/07/2025 you play an important role in the success of our students:

  • To provide support within the work place for students with Learning Difficulties and/or Disabilities.
  • To assist the Employment Coordinator to setup, maintain and review work placements.
  • To provide overall care of the student and enable him/her to access the college facilities and develop independence within the wider community.
  • To be an active member of the Foundation Team and to assist in the development of individual programmes and the assessment of student progress.
  • Level 3 Learner Support Certificate or equivalent or/ willing to work towards
  • Educated to Level 3 in Maths and English
  • The applicant must be a car driver and have access to a car.

About The Bedford College Group

The Bedford College Group was formed in 2017 following the merger of Bedford College and Tresham College and is now the largest provider of education in the South East Midlands, with over 15,000 students passing through our doors each year.
