    We are currently seeking a Senior Training Coordinator and Programme Lead for Plumbing to join The Bedford College Group at our Corby Campus

    As a Senior Training Coordinator and Programme Lead you play an important role in the success of our students through:
    • Managing all programmes under remit to ensure that all departmental targets are successfully achieved.
    • Ensuring all learners under course caseload have an accurate initial assessment documented on onefile and that this assessment is reviewed, updated and documented throughout the programme.
    • Ensuring all learners under course caseload are registered with the end point assessment organisation and oversee the booking of all EPA's and recording of outcomes to ensure EPA's are booked and recorded in a timely manner.
    • Leading standardisation practices across the department at both sites, ensuring regular meetings are booked in and that they lead to improved outcomes to practice and achievement.
    Ideal candidates will have experience of training and assessing competence based programmes with students primarily aged 16-19, alongside the following qualifications:
    • A1 Assessors Award (TAQA)
    • Level 3 Plumbing and Gas

    About The Bedford College Group
    The Bedford College Group was formed in 2017 following the merger of Bedford College and Tresham College and is now the largest provider of education in the South East Midlands, with over 15,000 students passing through our doors each year.

    Today, the Group is made up of a family of colleges across Bedfordshire and Northamptonshire: Bedford College, Central Bedfordshire College and Tresham College in the towns of Bedford, Dunstable, Leighton Buzzard, Corby, Kettering and Wellingborough; Shuttleworth College, a specialist land-based college; The Bedford Sixth Form, (the only dedicated sixth form in Bedford); The Corby Sixth Form, (opened in September 2023); and the National College for Motorsport alongside Silverstone race circuit. To widen accessibility to education and training, the Group also has community-based Learning Centres in Bedford, Corby and Kettering which offer IT training.
