    Description

    Job Summary

    We are looking to expand our Specialty Doctor workforce to work alongside our Stroke Team at Fairfield General Hospital. Our inpatient work is provided from our modern Primary Stroke Centre/Acute Unit and Stroke Rehabilitation wards. Outpatient work includes TIA specialities and general stroke review clinics across our Hospital sites. You will be expected to support the on-call rota.

    Main Duties of the Job

    Support and deputise for consultants in all department activities. Take responsibility for both in-patient and out-patient work. Undertake ward rounds, both consultant-led and independently. Assist the Division in achieving all out-patient and in-patient waiting list targets and quality standards. Undertake one or more research projects of your choosing. Participate in emergency cover.
