Summary of the Role:


We are seeking a project coordinator to develop and run a safe and welcoming community-based Inclusion Hub in the Forest of Dean, led by disabled people, for disabled people.

We run 4 existing community-based Inclusion hubs in Gloucester, the Forest of Dean and Cheltenham.

These are safe spaces for people with any experience of disability to socially connect, learn new skills and access information.

The Forest hub runs weekly on a Wednesday


This role sits within our Engagement team, alongside Expert(s) by Experience (people with lived experience of disability, mental health and neurodivergence) and the Project Manager and involves day-to-day coordination and delivery of our hubs and supporting the Project Manager to build and develop our Hub offer.


You will work with the team to ensure that there is a varied timetable of meaningful activities, that the Hubs are welcoming safe spaces for people with a range of disabilities, that staff are well supported in their roles, and that the Hubs are professionally run-in line with health and safety and safeguarding guidelines.

You will work with Hub members on Hub delivery days to ensure the Hubs are user-led and activities are meaningful and appropriate.


Job Purpose:

To organise and facilitate a peer-led review of mental health supported living accommodation, working alongside and supporting Experts by Experience (people with lived experience) to have an active role in coproducing and co-delivering.


Hours and pay:

Hours: 9 per week


Salary:
£27,514, 0.24 FTE, £14.11 per hour (pro rata £6,603)

Locations:
Railway House, Bruton Way, GL1 1DG and travel around the county to supported living settings

Holiday: 28 days + bank holidays pro rata
