Role definition:


In this role you will be expected to keep up to date with the regrind we receive from the shop floor ensuring the regrind stock is carried out effectively and efficiently whilst maintaining stock control and support the regrind supervisor with any duties during the shift.


Key areas of responsibility, duties and the deliverables expected:

  • Effectively undertake and complete specific tasks as requested ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ensure the highest standards of housekeeping are maintained.
  • Paperwork and daily counts up to date.
  • Support and assist in other duties within the warehouse when needed by the manager
  • Be able to learn different types of materials
  • Collecting parts for granulating from the shop floors
  • Supporting regrind supervisor with the selling of regrind
  • Working with manufacturing in regards to issuing regrind stocks ensuring maximum usage
  • Drive change management and awareness on regrind to engage all employees
  • Follow the correct procedures with regards to NCP
  • Put improvement suggestions forward where appropriate.
  • Ensure all marked gangways are kept clear at all times.
  • Drive improvements though the identification and implementation of opportunities to improve regrind performance across all sites.

Required education, skills, training or experience:

  • Highly motivated, progressive, responsible and reliable.
  • Be able to adapt quickly to a changing working environment.
  • Good communication skills and able to work with people at all levels.
  • Understanding of the importance of health and safety in the workplace.
  • Positive attitude and proactive approach to work.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Experience of manual handling.
  • Pay attention to detail.
