We are seeking to appoint a full-time permanent Degree Apprenticeships Employer Engagement Officer to work within the Education Group as part of the Work-Based & Professional Learning Team.

JOB PURPOSE


To lead and manage the implementation of strategic initiatives relating to employer relationships for apprenticeship programmes, making new links with prospective employers and networking to develop and deepen links made.

To grow the diversity of employers on Warwick apprenticeship programmes and work with stakeholders across the University to initiate and implement new employer focussed activities.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES


To lead the development of effective internal and external relationships to grow the numbers and range of employers on apprenticeship programmes in agreed priority sectors.

Actively promote cross-team collaboration on employer initiatives with Student Opportunity and academic departments, including placements, internships and graduate recruitment.


To manage employer relationship development from the point of initial contact with employers through to establishing active employer engagement with Warwick.

This will include event attendance and making visits to potential employers across all sectors, in the local region and further afield.


To develop and deliver employer events to promote apprenticeships at Warwick, including setting targets for attendance, budget management, event organisation and marketing.

Identifying appropriate stakeholders to invite to each event, ensuring a diverse range of stakeholders are represented, and ensuring attendance at the events meets objectives.

Use appropriate mechanisms to evaluate employer satisfaction with apprenticeship programmes and other related activities.

To develop and refine marketing content and strategies to promote Warwick apprenticeship programmes to employers. This will include using a range of marketing communication tools, in line with University marketing and employer engagement strategies, and
working closely with internal stakeholders.

To manage expenditure in line with the budget for specific events.

Introducing and maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records and producing financial reports to account for budget expenditure related to specific events.


To work with the Head of Work-based and Professional Learning, the Programmes Manager(s) and other internal stakeholders to constantly review opportunities for new programme development.


To support the Programmes Manager(s) with the development of new Apprenticeship Programmes particularly by organisational training needs analyses to help establish programme requirements, and through participation in Trailblazer meetings.

To promote specific apprenticeship programmes and vacancies in partnership with employers. To include promotion of vacancies through appropriate online resources and within schools and colleges.

Ensure that the Client Relationship Management systems (CRM) are maintained and updated with employer information and requirements.

Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to actively promote equality, diversity and Widening Participation initiatives.
