The Team:


Financial Risk Analytics (FRA) delivers enterprise risk solutions to some of the largest firms in the financial services industry, and is part of S&P Global, a dynamic entrepreneurial company listed on the New York Stock Exchange.

The Client Onboarding, Integration and Support Services (COISS) team within FRA is responsible for delivering our solutions to our clients, from pre-sales through go-live.

This position is for an Associate level London-based Business Consultant running FRA client projects across EMEA. In addition to the detailed job description below, client relationship management is an important requirement of the role.

Ensuring a high levelof satisfaction by effective management of client needs is a core part of project management in FRA.

Responsibilities:


  • Manage a portfolio of FRA prospects and clients in managing and controlling a wide variety of project activities
  • Prepare and execute on senior stakeholder reporting and communication needs
  • Effectively communicate overall project status to internal and external stakeholders
  • Balance the resourcing schedule for inprogress and planned project work
  • Provide an ongoing risk management capability for the business
  • Prepare and maintain business case and project initiation materials, including the ongoing project pipeline
  • Capture and consolidate project metrics, and implement and leverage KPIs across the group, to assist in ongoing planning and continuous improvement
  • Prioritize tasks and effectively manage day to day issues
  • Coordinate project and workflow management with financial engineering, design, development and QA teams
  • Prepare End Project and Lessons Learned reports to assist in ongoing planning and continuous improvement
  • Support and provide holiday cover for other project managers
  • Be flexible in dealing with large waterfall, agile, and RAID deliveries as required by the needs of the project in question
  • Coordinate release window activity between various impacted groups and stakeholders
  • Support FRA sales colleagues with project management expertise as required.
  • Includes taking complete ownership of the steps that needs to be taken to deliver daily results to clients
  • Quality check input and output data
  • Troubleshoot errors and work with internal groups to provide resolution
  • Respond to client requests by providing detailed analysis and feedback
  • Perform testing to ensure the product in UAT, preprod environment emulate the same design setup in the production environment as well

- University degree

  • Prince 2 qualified or equivalent experience preferable
  • Experience of technology projects related to financial risk
  • Understanding of financial markets, financial instruments and risk practices within banks is essential
  • Experience managing successful and complex technology projects
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Capable of working effectively in a fastpaced business environment managing multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Adept at building and maintaining trusted and respected relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels
  • Highly proficient communication skills
  • Personally engaging
  • Able to positively engage with, and contribute to, the wider global team
  • Willing to work occasional evenings and/or weekends to accommodate client deadlines and timezone differences
