The Southampton Steps to Wellbeing Service is looking to recruit an enthusiastic Team Administrator to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with the appropriate skills to join a friendly and committed team.


The administrator will be able to ensure a confidential, efficient and comprehensive administrative support to the Steps to Wellbeing clients and staff.

The successful applicant will be enthusiastic, self-motivated and hard-working.


You will have good customer care communication skills, an excellent telephone manner, attention to detail, as well as excellent IT skills.

You must be able to work accurately under pressure, whilst remaining calm and courteous and be able to work well as part of a team.

The role involves working on a wide variety of administrative tasks which include, but are not limited to:

  • Answering incoming telephone calls.
  • Scheduling appointments.
  • Preparing and sending letters.
  • Supporting the wider team with any admin queries.
  • Dealing with confidential records.
  • Taking meeting minutes.
You will need excellent IT skills, strong organisational capabilities, proven time management skills and an excellent telephone manner.


As a pivotal point of contact you will need to be able to build effective working relationships, have a friendly approach and be able to ensure good levels of communication between yourself and the team.
