What is a Degree Apprenticeship?


Our 4-year Degree Apprenticeship scheme will give you the opportunity to learn a highly skilled, professional and in-demand job role whilst studying for a fully-funded degree in Quantity Surveying and getting paid a great salary.

You will attend Universityone or two days per week, and for the rest of your time you'll be working alongside experienced Surveyors in our office, with our clients, or on site to gain the practical experience to complement your University studies.

At the end of your degree course wewill support you to complete the RICS assessment to become a Chartered Surveyor.

This is a permanent job role and at the end of your Apprenticeship you can continue to develop your career with us.


What will I be doing?
You will join us in August 2023 and will begin your University studies in September.

You will be based at our London Office (Shoreditch) and will be supporting the day-to-day management of several projects, working with both the commercial and residentialteams.

We support our clients to build everything from carbon-neutral social housing and schools; through to prestige-brand manufacturing facilities and cutting-edge high-tech developments.

You will be involved from project inception and through planning,procurement, construction, and until hand-over and final defects inspections. The job is varied and will cover the roles of Cost Manager, Employer's Agent and Project Manager.


What do I need to apply?

  • A minimum of 112 UCAS points (already achieved or predicted grades for 2023) and at least 5 GCSE's at grade 4 / C including English and Maths.
  • An understanding of the roles of a Quantity Surveyor, Employer's Agent and Project Manager as well as an interest in residential and commercial property development.
  • Excellent numeracy skills and strong written and spoken English.
  • Be able to communicate confidently and diplomatically in a variety of situations.
  • Ideally you will have some work experience but it doesn't need to be relevant to this role.
  • You must be physically capable of moving around a construction site. (Please be aware that whilst you will visit construction sites for inspections and meetings, the role of a Professional Quantity Surveyor is predominantly office based.)
  • Many sites are inaccessible by public transport so you must either already hold a valid UK driving licence or be capable of obtaining one in the near future.
