Reed Procurement & Supply Chain are proud to be representing a family-owned business based in Durham to appoint a Delivery Coordinator into their business.


In this role, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating all delivery activities in conjunction with contracts/production schedules to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.

You will provide excellent customer service, both internally and externally,at all times.

Internally, you will work closely with MCC, Contracts, Production, and Purchasing. You will form strong working relationships with our suppliers, customers and transport partners.


Duties Of The role:

  • Schedule the deliveries with our transport partners and prepare delivery documentation
  • Contact customers to confirm planned delivery dates
  • Ensure goods are correctly labelled and ready for despatch
  • Verify that products are properly packed, stored and transported to avoid any accidents and damage
  • Produce all of the despatch documentation
  • Liaise with suppliers to coordinate direct site deliveries
  • Track the status of deliveries and resolve any issues
  • Notify customers about any delivery delays in advance of the due date
  • Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction pre and post the delivery
  • Respond to deliveryrelated enquiries and concerns from customers
