Join a leading biopharmaceutical company in the Hertfordshire area as a Health, Safety and Environmental Manager, where your expertise will be pivotal in steering the site towards a proactive and sustainable future. As the Health, Safety and Environmental Manager, you will provide hands-on support, offering practical solutions and advice to ensure the site not only meets but exceeds environmental and safety standards.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Your duties as the Health, Safety and Environmental Manager will be varied, however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HS&E legislation and liaise with authorities and trade unions on EH&S matters. 2. Drive the development of a positive safety culture, ensuring effective communication of safe working practices. 3. Oversee document control, ensuring alignment with corporate standards and compliance with ISO 45001 & Provide comprehensive HS&E advice and support to leadership, fostering continuous improvement and strategic alignment across departments.

Role Requirements

To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Health, Safety and Environmental Manager, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant NEBOSH and IEMA certifications, with a preference for candidates holding a NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety. 2. Proven experience in delivering health and safety advice within a multi-disciplinary organization, preferably within the pharmaceutical manufacturing and GxP / GMP environment. 3. A thorough understanding and practical experience with ISO 45001 & 14001 management systems. You will be a ISO 45001 lead auditor.
