The company was originally founded in Bolton in 1970 and has recently been acquired by a team with the vision and means to transform it into a world-renowned company and centre of excellence for motorcycle design and manufacture.

The vision is to invest significantly in people, product, production facilities and processes and to grow the sales volume significantly to circa 7,000 units per year and to expand sales into Europe and North America.

Key Responsibilities:_

There is now a clear requirement to appoint a Delivery Team Leader to manage the delivery of finished motorbikes to customers.

Scheduling and Dispatch department is a high energy, proactive function and you must be able to balance priorities and workload demands ensuring that we plan the optimal schedule for delivering motorbikes to the customers and ensure that motorbikes are delivered in time as planned.

Multi-tasking and the ability to think creatively and innovatively to achieve our plans is essential.

The role will entail:

Liaising with customers to take final payment for the balance of any invoices prior to delivery.
Responsibility for route planning to ensure timely delivery and collection of motorbikes.
Ensuring bikes are registered with the DVLA prior to delivery, including management of all the required paperwork.
Liaising with customers to arrange delivery and deal with any delivery concerns.
Booking transport with motorcycle delivery companies. Liaising with them to deal with any issues.
Management of a small team of staff involved in paperwork administration and delivery.
Maintenance of reports and trackers pertaining to delivery, for daily communication to management.
Compliance with Health and Safety standards.
Willingness To Learn and Take Information on Boar
Flexible Approach to Work
Carry out any other tasks that will, from time to time be allocated by the Supply Chain Manager

Role Type:

Negotiable, depend on experience

The hours are Monday-Friday from 8:30am till 17.00pm
