An opportunity has arisen to join the Safeguarding Adults team as a Band 6 Safeguarding Adults Practitioner.

This full-time post working with an experienced team to ensure that all staff fulfil their duty to support people at risk and to prevent harm.


The key responsibilities of the post holder will be to support and advice staff on adult safeguarding concerns/alerts and to work alongside multi-professional partners across Bradford District; North Yorkshire and East Lancashire in accordance with the West Yorkshire and Partners Multi Agency Policy and Procedures for Safeguarding Adults.


The core principles of the role are to:
Promote personalised and safe care as part of a prevention strategy

Promote effective responses to harm

Use learning to improve prevention of harm and support protection of people at risk

Make safeguarding personal


Safeguarding is everyone's business and as such the postholder will work across the trust supporting safeguarding education, training and practice with all staff, patients and visitors.
