An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Band 4 Directorate Secretary within Maternity, Neonatal & Gynaecology Services.


The post holder is required to provide comprehensive secretarial support to the Management and Directorate Team including Senior Medical and Midwifery/Nursing staff to ensure efficient smooth running of the services we provide.


This will involve liaising with other departments, organising electronic diaries, maintaining records, taking minutes at Directorate Level and with complainants, operating a bring forward system and preparing papers for relevant meetings.

Maintain the establishment spreadsheet.


The post holder will coordinate responses to the Directorate's complaints, working closely and liaising with the Trust's complaints department, collating responses, arranging meetings with complainants and Trust staff members.


The post holder would be expected to liaise with external clients to organise conferences/training and ensure that the effective administration and organisation of the Directorate is maintained.
