We are looking for a Technical Planning Officer to join our Assets and Compliance team with significant experience in data management.

This is to ensure an high standard of data is maintained within core data so and to assist in the planning of both cyclical maintenance programmes and future reinvestment projects.


What you'll be doing:

- assist in the development of WDH asset management system (PIMSS) or WDH approved Asset Management System (AMS) and associated processes to maximise asset and investment planning output;
- maintain the structure and integrity of all asset related data captured and managed within PIMSS or AMS and all associated software packages utilised by the Asset Management teams;
- be responsible for providing operational reports from core systems to provide business intelligence of all Assets in line with core data and information standards to ensure compliance of legal and statutory obligations;
- be responsible for ensuring asset data & information held within WDH asset management system (PIMSS) or approved AMS is up to date, accurate, complete, consistent, validated, timely, unique with no duplication; for the life cycle of each asset;
- be responsible for assets set up process for all new acquisitions ensuring all new acquisitions have a complete data and information set; and
- provide comprehensive data management, analysis and a reporting function to aid development of future investment programmes and essential maintenance and servicing requirements across the WDH portfolio.


What we're looking for
To join our Assets department, we're looking for someone with:

  • ability to use data management software;
- strong communication and organisation skills and the ability to work with other departments to ensure data reconciliation for updating asset management systems;
- the ability to analyse, interpret, coordinate and present information in a logical format, both written and verbally, in a timely manner;
- the ability to work in a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment;
- knowledge and practical experience of using IT systems, including significant experience of using the Microsoft Office 2010 suite; and
- a general understanding of housing asset management requirements to ensure we maintain properties to the Decent Home's Standard.
