Description

Lara search is currently seeking a Classroom Assistant to become a part of our team of educators.

In this role, you will collaborate with the teacher to offer support and aid in creating a positive and stimulating classroom environment.

Your key responsibility will be to ensure the safety and engagement of all students during their learning journey.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the teacher in creating lesson plans and delivering instruction
Provide individualized support to students who need extra assistance
Observe and track students' academic and social progress, and report feedback to the teacher
Ensure a safe and hygienic classroom environment
Assist in managing students' behaviour and classroom operations
Participate in meetings with parents and teachers as necessary
Attend training sessions and meetings with colleagues.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in education or related field preferred
Prior experience working with children preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well as part of a team
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
Flexible and adaptable to changing situations
Demonstrated commitment to student success and positive learning outcomes

Requirements:

Available to work 08:30 to 16:00, Monday to Friday.
Previous experience supporting children or young adults with additional needs.
Available immediately to work as a Learning Support Assistant.
