In this Business Consultant position, you will be joining an incredibly exciting travel agency that specialises in expeditions to Antarctica, Patagonia and the Arctic.

In the 13+ years they have been established, they have helped over 10,000 adventure travel enthusiasts experience the extraordinary landscapes and wildlife of Patagonia and the Polar Regions.

This well-established parent company has also recently launched a sister company which invests in travel start-ups across the world, helping them to become future travel leaders in the global community Due to their continued success, they are now looking for a smart and ambitious graduate to work directly alongside their CEO/Founder in their Bristol office


Job description - Business Consultant
In this Business Consultant role, you will be involved with supporting the CEO with a wide variety of projects.


You will have invaluable exposure to senior leadership engagements, MVP experiments that may lead to strategic projects, and the workings of a bustling business.


As one of this travel agency's newest, budding employees, your role will be broad and evolve to meet the needs of the company.

You'll need to be a self-starter who can adapt and learn quickly, as well as a bright individual with an analytical and technical mind.

They are looking for a graduate who is willing to roll their sleeves up and get stuck in


Key responsibilities - Business Consultant

In this Business Consultant role, you will be:

  • Planning and scheduling senior leadership meetings, strategy reviews, investment committee meetings and partnership collaborations
  • Preparing analyses, reports and presentations for meetings and reviews
  • Tracking the status and KPIs of companies in the investment portfolio/pipeline
  • Conducting research (via both qualitative and quantitative methods) for projects ranging from carbon reduction and sustainability to due diligence on travel companies
  • Planning and booking international travel and meetings for the CEO and other key members of the team
  • Collaborating with the senior leadership team, including the Sustainability Manager, HR, Marketing, Finance & Analytics
  • Helping to optimise business processes, which might include using ChatGPT/AI, developing spreadsheet tools, designing questionnaires etc.
  • Working broadly to support the needs of the business, getting exposure to varied responsibilities, including general administration and adhoc tasks

Job requirements - Business Consultant
You will be well suited for this Business Consultant role if you have:

  • A degree from a top university, preferably in STEM or Earth Science backgrounds, and great academics
  • Great analytical skills, critical thinking ability, and a technical mind
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office, especially expertise with Microsoft Excel and/or other data management tools
  • A real drive for a sustainable future, paired with an awareness of climate and biodiversity issues, and an appreciation for nature/travel
  • A teamplayer and problemsolver demonstrated through your extracurricular interests/hobbies
  • A previous position of responsibilty in a meaningful project, venture, event or company
  • Brilliant organisation skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads
  • A pragmatic approach to life, being able to adapt and evolve effortlessly
  • A curiosity and hunger to grow that enables you to learn fast and be proactive
