Description

Our client is looking for a Design Engineer to join them on a contract basis until March 2025. You will be responsible for the design of repairs on metallic and composite structures.

Your primary role will be to work closely with Static Stress and F&DT engineers to develop and validate repairs to damaged aircraft structures.

Additionally, as the Design Engineer you are required to integrate the repair solution which will involve liaising with stakeholders to ensure all relevant requirements are identified and met.

Hourly Rate:
£42 per hour via Umbrella - inside IR35

Working closely within a skilled team of analysis engineers you will design and develop optimum repair solutions.
Creating, compiling and coordinating engineering documentation to deliver the required technical data for repairs.
PLM systems, fleet knowledge
Legacy Aircraft knowledge
Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering degree (or equivalent) or relevant aerospace engineering experience.
Aircraft structural engineering background, Airbus programmes preferable but not essential.
