We are currently looking to recruit a Completions Lead to join HPC project.
At Hinkley Point C (HPC) we are building the first nuclear power station to be constructed in the UK for over two decades, HPC at the operating stage will employ several hundred people and make a major contribution to the UK's move to reduce carbon emissions.
As a Completions Lead, you will lead a team, be the focal point and Subject Matter Expert for the delivery of completions, and handover across the HPC Project, both within the supply chain and onsite.
Support the development and implementation of completions and handover strategy, processes, and procedures throughout the project; ensuring associated Lifetime Quality Records are reviewed and accepted, and manage the strategic overview of their implementation, delivery, and approval across the HPC site.

You will be accountable for ensuring the relevant stakeholders are aware of their duties in ensuring all appropriate records are collated, submitted and approved throughout the life cycle of the project ensuring completed documentation is correct to the right standards and uploaded onto EDRMS.
Your main responsibilities will be to ensure completions meets the evolving needs of the project; actively managing the progressive delivery of documents from contractors, facilitating handovers, ensuring supporting procedures remain fit for purpose.
Who you are
You will have:
- Qualifications in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, construction management or equivalent vocational training and experience
- Extensive experience in the delivery of large, complex projects, including Power, Chemical and Industrial
- Experience of operating in a highsecurity environment
- Experience in Managing completions within construction, installation, erection and commissioning
- Have the ability to lead a large diverse team both on site and remotely
- Have the ability to manage, mediate and influence all Stakeholders, including those at a very senior level, associated with ensuring the governance and compliance of MSWH procedure and complimentary procedures are adhered to.
- Have a motivational approach and the ability to energise team members and stakeholders by building a climate of trust and understanding
- A broad knowledge of Processes and Procedures affecting completions
- Manage the strategic development and implementation of associated NNB procedures.
- Strong communication skills in English required,
- Able to adopt a resultsfocussed mind set, using initiative wherever possible and taking personal responsibility and accountability to ensure necessary action is taken to deliver excellence, value and quality.
- Have a good working knowledge of commercial principles relating to completions that may affect construction matters and vice versa.
- Possess excellent organisation and communication skills and be able to write informative, concise and meaningful reports
- Ability to initiate, coordinate and manage the implementation and ongoing adherence to completions software across the project.
Desirable
- Chartered status
- Experience of successfully completing areas of projects with a value of £50M to 100M or similar sized complex projects ( £1B)
- Experience in the installation and erection of large Civil, Mechanical or Electrical plant with nuclear experience being an advantage
- Possess excellent organisation and communication skills and be able to write informative, concise and meaningful reports
- Knowledge of French can be an advantage
