Duties:

You will be running the department, working with the managers, and the rest of the team to deliver a high quality service to our clients, and to meet departmental targets and KPI's.
You will be responsible for developing the department, the team and be a role model.
You will build relationships with the clients and team so that you are the "goto" person delivering highly professional and compliant audit services, and to be able to provide technical advice and guidance.
You will be supported by our existing partners and RI's, who will support you in delivering specialist audit services to your clients and be there as a sounding board for you.
You will also be identifying and delivering added value services to the clients.

Qualifications / Skills:

You must have a least 5 years' post qualified experience of working in a medium sized practice working with SME's.
You'll be ACA or ACCA qualified.
You'll have significant managerial experience in a practice environment.
You'll have strong technical knowledge, eg UK GAAP, FRS102, IFRS and ISA's. Having charity experience and knowledge of the SORP would be advantageous but not essential.
Determination and drive as well as a flexible in your approach to work.
Knowledge of CCH would be great.
Proactive approach to tasks whether they are big or small.
Selfmotivated, and an ambitious individual.
