If so, our Business Support Officer role might be what you're looking for.
We're looking for someone to play a critical enabling role in the One Public Estate programme team.

The role will offer you variety, stretch and support to develop your skills.
The programme is delivered in partnership between the Office of Government Property (OGP), the Local Government Association (LGA), and the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities (DLUHC), and supports ambitious cross-public sector property projects that create local economic growth, integrate public services, and drive efficiency savings.
We take a place-based approach to what we do, supporting and investing in projects that make a difference for local communities and support the delivery of the Government Estate Strategy.
Job description:
We're looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic and organised team player, comfortable working with senior people and with large amounts of autonomy.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills will be needed, as will an ability to balance competing deadlines and manage upwards.
The role would suit someone with experience of working in a project or programme environment; supporting senior boards and leadership teams; and/or providing government Secretariat support.
Most important will be an ability to quickly absorb information, solve problems and deliver high quality outputs, often through others.
You will sit in the programme pillar of the team, besides commercial, policy and regional teams.You will report to the Assistant Programme Manager but will also work closely with the Programme Manager and other members of the Programme Management Office (PMO) in both Cabinet Office and the LGA.
You will have a variety of responsibilities, including:
- Leading recruitment campaigns for the team
- Playing a key role in the programme's PMO to enable outcomes and outputs against the programme plan
- Supporting OPEs two governance boards, Programme Executive Group and joint Senior Leadership Team
- Providing diary and administrative support to the Deputy Director of Property Programmes and wider Office of Government Property
- Coordination of briefings and submissions across the team, including some drafting
- Support to events, including leading on aspects of events management
- Diary management
- Other activities as relevant and in support of the post holder's development.
