Position:
Technical Buyer

Salary:
£32,000 - £38,000 per annum DOE

Location:
Lancing

You will be working in a fast-paced environment where technology changes constantly which means products purchased needs to change. This means staying one step ahead of the game is important. Currency fluctuations and raw material increase/decrease havea massive effect on the industry.

Establish the best price from the most suitable supplier
Visiting / auditing suppliers when necessary
Develop subcontract supply chain for outside operations, placement and management of subcontract Purchase Orders
Expediting of open Purchase Orders, and updating delivery dates within BaaN
Liaising with internal stakeholders and supply chain to resolve any NC

Required experience

At least 5 years' experience in Purchasing and supply chain management working in a manufacturing environment advantageous
Problem Solving
Good communication skills
Striving for reduction of cost
