Cleaner/Domestic Assistant (Part Time) - Morningside Manor Care Home

Lindemann Healthcare is a family run business which was established in 1995 and has over 25 years experience caring for older people in Edinburgh.

Our dedicated team aims to provide specialised care in a safe homely atmosphere where the residents are cared for with dignity and respect.

Benefits Include:

Excellent rate of pay £11.80 per hour
Part time 5 days / 23.75 hours per week. Shift pattern is 8am to 1pm including alternative weekends

Roles & Responsibilities

As an essential part of the Care Home team, Domestic Assistants are responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness to ensure a safe, hygienic and pleasant environment for residents, staff and visitors.

General cleaning of Care Home to support the resident including cleaning residents bedroom and bathroom
Cleaning of all public areas
Reporting any faults/repairs of fabric and/or fittings
Maintain confidentiality at all times.
Be courteous and polite at all times and develop good relations with residents, relatives and visitors both inside and outside the Home.
Be aware of and comply with relevant health and safety and fire procedures.
Undertake other duties as may be reasonably requested in order to maintain the smooth running of the Home.
