We currently have a fantastic opportunity to join Club Cheadle Hulme as a weekend Sports Centre Assistant.

Our Sports Centre Assistants support the smooth running of the sports centre facilities, representing the Trust and School during community lettings periods, supporting the daily interaction with community users along with the day-to-day cleaning, setting up and supervision of gym and sports facilities.

This position is specifically a weekend contract, the hours will be:
Saturday 8am-6pm, Sunday 1.30pm-9.30pm

You may occasionally be asked to support our other sports centers based in Didsbury, Cheadle Hulme and Hazel Grove.

Job Purpose

To represent the Trust/School during community lettings periods and will therefore be expected to display a high level of reliability, organisational and communication skills.
To support the daily interaction with community users along with the daytoday cleaning, setting up and supervision of gym and sports facilities.
To liaise with the Heads of the School PE Department to ensure smooth operation/changeover between school and community use

Key Skills & Experience

Sound educational background including GCSE's in Maths and English (A*C) or equivalent
It is desirable that applicants have a sports related qualification and first aid training E.g. Level 2 Fitness Instructor
Ability to lift and move sports equipment, e.g. badminton posts, wheeled table tennis tables.
