Morgan McKinley is looking for Finance Planning and Analysis Analyst for an exciting, newly created role, for our client based in Swindon working for a growing subsidiary of a global organisation.
My client offers and modern office environment, flexible hours, and the ability to work in a hybrid model.We are looking for someone who is keen to add value through production of detailed and accurate reports, models, and scenario mapping for the head ofFP&A.
This is a permanent role, offered with bonus, 25 days annual leave + Bank holidays, private healthcare, life assurance and flexible working and more.
-Reporting to the Head of FP&A you will be tasked with the following: Production and creation on of the monthly group reporting
- Production of detailed analysis on the client revenues and ensure you have a keen understanding on the key value drivers
- Analysis of trends such as spend, pricing, etc
- Variance analysis, offering colour where possible and reporting any areas of anomalies or risk or opportunity to the head of FP&A
- Develop new reporting and have a natural curiosity to have a deep dive and understating of the P&L and report the exec team.
- Create and supply data analysis depending on the requirements of the client and team
What you will need:Experience in job roles such as Analyst / Finance Analyst / Data Analyst/ Assistant FP&A analyst/ Assistant Finance Business Partner, Commercial Accountant, Management Accountant
- Ideally studying/ finalist of ACA or ACCA or CIMA
- Be analytical and data savvy
- Strong on excel
- Ideally Power Bi & Power pivots though this can be taught pivots and lookups are essential and experience of working with high levels of data
- Strong communicator who can build relationships
- Be a problem solver who enjoys breaking down a problem and creating the right analysis to help find a solution
- Able to produce meaning full data to nonfinancial stakeholders using Powerpoint etc
