Purchasing Expeditor / Purchasing Assistant, Sandhurst:My established and well know client has a passion for designing and manufacturing energy efficient, aesthetically pleasing products, The company can offer a variety of highly respected brands, which is manufactured to the highest UK quality standards at the company's Sandhurst/Blackwater HQ.

Purchasing Expeditor / Purchasing Assistant:


  • Working within a busy supplychain and procurement team
  • Liaising with Suppliers regarding deliveries;
  • Identifying production risks and escalating them;
  • Managing and updating the Open Order Book;
  • Reviewing overdue orders;
  • Updating confirmed delivery dates calculated on Suppliers dispatch dates;
  • Managing Exceptions;
  • Requisition POD;
  • Running MRP;
  • Order placement and consolidation;
  • Master data maintenance;
  • Owning Purchasing Inbox, managing queries and escalating issues;
  • Managing the Returns Process
  • Communicating Supplier Quality Issues, Requesting Supplier
  • Liaising with Goods In on deliveries;
  • Invoice queries;
  • Reviewing back orders;
  • Other administrative tasks and duties which fall under the Purchasing remit.

The Successful Applicant:


Purchasing Expeditor / Purchasing Assistant, Sandhurst:

  • Ideally 2 years' experience in a Purchasing/Production/Manufacturing environment
  • There is some flexibility with this
  • Good IT skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office, in particular Excel
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Commitment to excellence
  • Team player
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Excellent numerical skills
  • Driven, motivated & organised
  • Ability to take ownership of tasks and prioritise workload
  • Enthusiastic and willing to get involved in every aspect of purchasing, confident communicator and allround team player.
  • Methodical by nature with a keen eye for detail

What's on Offer:

£28,000 - £30,000 dependant upon experience plus great package and chance to develop your career in a proactive and successful team and manager.
