Partnering Health Group (PHL) are looking for a bank Receptionist to work at Lymington Hospital in our busy Urgent Treatment Centre.

We are an experienced integrated urgent healthcare organisation responsible for providing a variety of health care services.


As a key member of the team at PHL, your role is very important as the first point of contact for our patients.

A kind and empathetic person, you will be expected to take control and be accountable for the given situation, treating every patient with respect and providing confidence in our ability to deliver a great and caring service.


As an integral team member, you will efficiently manage patient and customer interactions, keeping them informed to the progress and liaising with your duty team leader as appropriate to ensure a seamless and first-class service is delivered.


We are looking for a reliable and friendly team player who must be flexible and available to work weekends, and bank holidays.


Hours


We are offering this role on a bank contract basis, but the shifts available will vary Monday - Sunday a mixture of earlies and lates.

Receptionist Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Receptionist Duties & Responsibilities
  • To book patients in on arrival for urgent Treatment centre and Appointments +
  • Answering the telephone promptly and deal with all enquiries, maintaining confidentially at all times
  • Maintaining stationery stocks
  • Ensure the reception area is kept tidy and all areas are safe

Receptionist Skills and Experience:


  • Relevant Reception / Customer Service or administration experience
  • Must be confident, multitask, work independently without supervision
  • Sensitivity and empathy with people from different backgrounds
  • Ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate empathy when dealing with patients and multidisciplinary team
  • Ability to use Microsoft office or other databases
  • Previous experience of Adastra and EMIS would be desirable but not essential

Job Types:
Part-time, Zero hours contract


Salary:
£10.42-£11.28 per hour
