  • Associate Director, Corporate Strategy

  • The Corporate Strategy group at Wolters Kluwer reports to the CEO and Chair of the Executive Board and helps drive growth and strategic transformation across the company, through Strategy & Innovation, Corporate Development, and Go-ToMarket Transformation Teams. We are a small but diverse Group staffed with talent from various disciplines and geographies, doing truly impactful work and with fantastic executive leadership visibility. This specific position is for the Strategy & Innovation Team.
  • Responsibilities:
  • Our focus, in the Strategy & Innovation team, spans an interesting mix of classic strategy and hands-on transformation work across a wide variety of businesses in our portfolio, as well as driving innovation across Wolters Kluwer.
  • On a day-to-day basis, you will work closely with the VP of Corporate Strategy & Innovation (who leads the Strategy & Innovation Team) and the Chief Strategy & Innovation Officer (who leads the Corporate Strategy Group), to analyze key macroeconomic, financial, and industry trends, run the annual strategic planning process, and support the Executive Board (CEO and CFO) and the Supervisory Board. Project work will primarily focus on market deep-dives or diagnostics with actionable recommendations, done in partnership with divisions and business units across Wolters Kluwer.-
  • Skills:
  • Self-starter with a strong ownership mindset and disciplined approach to solving problems
  • Intellectual curiosity and disciplined approach to solving problems
  • Strong analytical skills to assess, research, interpret and analyze data
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Advanced communication skills, both written and verbal, to make clear recommendations and influence stakeholders to drive alignment
  • Capable of being both an individual contributor as well as a team player
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Education and Experience:
  • Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Proven work experience postMBA (or equivalent) in a top strategy consulting firm with focus on Strategy & Corporate Finance or commercial due diligence work (in addition to proven work experience preMBA)
  • Preference for experience in B2B Software space
