We are partnering with a large, long-established and socially purposed business that now has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join their People and Culture team on a permanent basis.

Please note, this role offers hybrid working with a minimum of two days in the London office each week. Regular travel will also be needed to sites in Essex.

In the role of People Consultant you will work closely with the Senior HR Partner within your designated business areas to deliver a high level of 'People' business support and local people plans, including building strategic leadership capabilities, assessing effectiveness within the business, and operationally support the delivery and embedding of change


This will include:

  • Operationally delivering and supporting on a variety of change programs such as restructures, redundancies and TUPE
  • Analysing, reviewing and utilising data in an evidencebased approach to put forward recommendations and support business cases and decisions
  • Leading and managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Building credible relationships with senior stakeholders through developing a reputation for delivery and getting things done
  • Contributing to and working collaboratively with colleagues in a team environment and cross organisationally

To be considered you will require:

  • Demonstrable experience of working in a business partnering capacity as part of a People and Culture team, gained in a large and complex organisation
  • Ideally MCIPD qualified, or working towards this, together with uptodate knowledge of contemporary People and Culture practices
  • Proven experience of managing and delivering change projects including restructures and TUPE transfers
  • Demonstrable ability to engage and challenge senior managers and provide advice and guidance with confidence
  • The ability to work independently to lead and deliver projects and also contribute collaboratively as part of a wider team
  • Confident IT skills with the ability to utilise a variety of rolerelated technology
