Sketchley Grange Hotel Spa in Hinckley, Leicestershire managed by the Focus Hotels Management Group. We are seeking to recruit a Night Porter to join our team.

We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service and creating memorble experiences for our guests.

Role Responsibilities
As Night Porter, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Provide exceptional guest service during the night shift ensuring guest satisfaction
Conduct security checks, walks and maintain a safe working environment for guests and staff
Auditing and reconciling daily financial transactions and banking
Preparing financial reports for management
Preparing guest billing and pre arrival checks
Assisting guests with check in and departure, handling enquiries and requests
Managing reservations
Monitoring the hotel surveillance systems and addressing any security concerns
Overseeing and responding to emergencies and maintaining incident reports
Ensuring all areas of the hotel are clean and presentable
Setting up of conference and event rooms as required to the company standards

Key Requirements

You should possess the following skills and qualifications:

Customer service experience with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional service
Exceptional attention to detail and organisation skills
IT proficiency, including knowledge of front office and hotel management systems and standard office software
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Diligence and attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy during financial audit processes
Previous experience in front office and hotels
Previous experience in a similar role
