The Process Owner will be the person that will strive to maximise efficiencies.

To actively take part and look for Continuous Improvement opportunities and to work in conjunction with CI engineer to drive completion.

To ensure that all company rules and directives are being adhered to. To plan and lead any Kaizen activities. To take part and lead any Townhall meetings or company briefs.

The Process owner will take full responsibility and accountability for their section, to include, (Safety, Quality & Throughput) and all corresponding activities and support


Primary Responsibilities

  • To own the Process and be the responsible and accountable person for that section.
  • To lead all activities pertaining to the section that they are in charge of. (This includes making sure that all PM, TPM and maintenance functions are up to date. This includes planning in PM and TPM activities)
  • To conduct any investigation for incidents, (This to include Quality Spills, both internally and externally, labour related issues and/or Throughput issues)
  • To ensure that L2 and L1 Boards are being completed
  • To conduct R&M analysis
  • To review any expenditure and to forecast any future expenditure on their section
  • To attend and contribute at the L3 meetings. To run the L2 meetings for their section
  • To make sure that Quality Standards are maintained
  • To be the SPA for EHS critical 8 disciplines. (Press to have Machine Guarding. HBR to have Mobile Equipment. Paint to have Confined Space. Thermal & Packing to have Cranes).
  • To ensure that the Versatility charts are kept up to date. (Skills Matrix)
  • To work with Production Support to schedule loadings
  • To lead the development/writing of any safe systems of work and Job Element Sheets for their area and to support other areas where required
  • To conduct layered Audits, following a schedule for areas that require auditing
  • To conduct Risk Assessments and Manual Handling assessments
  • To conduct SPA audits, for the discipline that each is assigned to.
  • To conduct Health & Safety Audits as well as SOT's, (Safety Observation Tours)
  • To be accountable to their section achieving the required KPI's
  • To plan and take part in any stock take activities
  • To ensure that LOTOV is fully trained in their sections and to plan training to cover skills gaps. (Lock Out Tag Out Verification)
  • To put forward team members for rewards and recognition awards
  • To conduct interviews for any vacancies. To support other areas with this activity
  • To take part and drive fatality prevention in their areas
  • To take part and lead any housekeeping audits or activities
  • To mentor and coach others, taking part and leading any change management within their area
  • To conduct performance management reviews for their teams
  • To monitor PPE usage and ensure PPE compliance at all times
  • To ensure that actions from the planning meetings are adhered to and closed. To ensure that any requests for EAP, (Employee Assistance Program) are forwarded promptly and to follow up to ensure closure
  • To ensure that Back orders/Scrap transactions have been completed according to the correct procedures.
  • To request overtime for their sections to meet throughput targets or for essential remedial work to be carried out. To ensure that any preshift checks have been conducted.

Essential Experience

  • Must have a knowledge of Powder Coating and be able to demonstrate experience
  • Must be able to demonstrate ability to manage a team
  • Sound knowledge of PPE requirements

  • Ability to inspire and drive others towards a recognised goal.
  • Excellent time keeping and time management
  • Excellent written and verbal communicator
  • Experience in Conflict Management
  • Ability to Problem solve and be able to demonstrate examples, using any recognised problem solving technique

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Runcorn, WA7 1QQ: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Work authorisation:

  • United Kingdom (preferred)
