Brief job description:


Estio Training have an exciting new opportunity for a Digital Marketing Apprentice with Fish Tank Agency, a cutting-edge digital design agency based in Mirfield.


Your duties and responsibilities in this role will consist of:

  • Conduct thorough keyword research and analysis to identify opportunities for improving organic search rankings and increasing website traffic.
  • Develop and implement onpage and offpage optimisation strategies, focusing on website content, meta tags, headings, and internal linking structure.
  • Monitor and analyse website performance using SEO tools and analytics platforms, providing regular reports and recommendations to improve SEO metrics.
  • Stay up to date with the latest SEO trends, search engine algorithms, and industry best practices to ensure our strategies align with current standards.
  • Collaborate with the digital team and clients' marketing/PR teams to create SEOfriendly content, including blog posts, articles, and landing pages, incorporating targeted keywords, and optimising for user experience.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to identify strengths and weaknesses of competitor websites and develop strategies to outrank them in search engine results.
  • Optimise website structure and navigation to improve user experience and facilitate search engine crawling and indexing.
  • Manage and optimise local SEO initiatives, including Google My Business listings, local citations, and online directories, to improve visibility in local search results.
  • Collaborate with web developers to implement technical SEO enhancements, such as website speed optimisation, mobile responsiveness, and structured data markup.
  • Monitor and manage backlink profile to ensure highquality and authoritative inbound links, as well as identify and disavow toxic links.

Qualifications:


  • 5 GCSEs grades A*C/94 or equivalent (including English Language and Maths)

Skills Required:


  • An understanding of statistics, data analysis and presenting findings.
  • Excellent copywriting skills.
  • Keen eye for proofreading.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Suite.
  • Microsoft Suite proficiency.
  • Increasing organic reach and engagement on social media platforms.
