The Role:


  • Contribute and deliver the corporate strategy in the area of battery production to ensure that the company achieves its short and longterm objectives.
  • Monitor/Implement efficient processes and standards.
  • Define the team structure and skill set required for success; continuously develop the team in building robust and flexible team capability.
  • Identify the capacity and capabilities needed to meet the current and emerging production needs.
  • Ensure the production schedule is successfully executed via the production teams, developing and agreeing appropriate manpower budgets and schedules.
  • Support Head of Quality to ensure quality standards are consistently met.
  • Develop and control operational budgets to promote profitability and ensure the company has all the resources required to meet its objectives within agreed financial parameters.
  • Contribute to overall business strategy and annual budget process.
  • Support the Stores Manager to ensure stock management and stores operation with the production facility meets your requirements.
  • Maintain working relationships with all Senior Managers / FGL's to ensure effective coordination of all company activities in support of corporate objectives.
  • Monitor and effectively manage cost centre budgets within Battery Systems Production, including stock levels and materials usage.
  • Work with the H&S team to uphold policies and procedures.
  • Awareness of current Health, Safety and Environmental legislation and best practice.
  • Ability to drive company culture through personal best practice
  • Consider the health and safety, environmental and energy impact of all activities.
  • Support the Company's compliance with the Data Protection Act 2018, following policy and best practice.
  • Good knowledge of manufacturing methods and part lead times
  • Knowledge of data analytics and reporting
  • Excellent organizational and leadership ability
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
  • Problemsolving aptitude
