HR Administrator - Apprentice for Legrand UK & Ireland

Full Description:


  • Work closely with and under the professional guidance of; internal HR, Health & Safety & IT practitioners and external Payroll, System, Benefit and Service providers.
  • Ensure that HR administration procedures cover the full 'appointment' to 'postemployment' life cycle and ensure that these procedures are legislation compliant and fully applied & adhered to.
  • Process changes in the HR and Time & Attendance (T&A) systems.
  • Provide training, as well as providing general guidance and assistance, for the T&A system to users.
  • Ensure that payroll changes are completed in accordance with all payroll cycles.
  • Maintain all HR related data in accordance with UK Company, Group and Legislative requirements.
  • Support and provide administration for HR events, e.g., training courses and pension meetings.
  • Assist with the return of Company equipment from leavers.
  • Always maintain a high level of integrity and confidentiality.
  • Always abide by and actively promote the Legrand Group Values and Code of Ethics.

Future Prospects:

Promotion to HR Administrator upon completion of apprenticeship.

Training Provided:


The apprenticeship will be delivered through a blend of live online learning, pre-recorded lectures, and face to face inductions and masterclasses.


Skills Required:

A basic aptitude for IT skills (word, excel, power point).


Personal Qualities:


  • Well organised and able to manage/prioritise multiple tasks.
  • Focused and able to maintain a high quality and timely work output.
  • Attention to detail when checking data & creating written works.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good time management skills.

Qualifications Required:

5 GCSEs including Maths and English Grade 4 or C and above.
