About the role:

This is a part-time position, working 3 days a week (Wednesday to Friday). We are currently seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our high performing team and provide top-quality HR support to the business.

In this role, you will offer HR advice, guidance, and coaching to managers on various HR areas such as absence management, performance issues, investigations, disciplinaries, and grievances. You will also collaborate with HR Business Partners on strategic change projects.

Responsibilities include:

Attending formal meetings for investigations, disciplinaries, and grievances;
Working on transactional processes with the People Services team;
Reporting and analyzing case work trends;
Collaborating on case work requiring escalation;
Ensuring fairness, confidentiality, and best practices in HR cases;
Updating HR policies and procedures.

Our Ideal Candidate:

CIPD Level 5 certification;
Experience in HR advisory roles;
Strong background in employee relations and HR case management;
Preferably experienced in a unionized environment;
Ability to build strong relationships and drive results;
Excellent planning and organization skills;
Experience supporting and coaching managers;
Proficiency in interpreting people data;
Valid UK driving license.

If selected, completion of pre-employment checks, including a DBS check and drug/alcohol test, will be required.
