Description

The Role:

To maintain the integrity of the organisation structure within the People Services System and all related data.


Regularly review the organisation structure to ensure it is accurate and ensure the organisational structure is amended in the system following any structural changes.


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Maintain organisation data on the People Services System in line with agreed governance
  • Update structures and hierarchies as the organisation changes and maintain records of all changes made and requested
  • Create new positions where required for recruitment and organisational changes
  • Flag positions as vacant, and monitor structures for long term vacancies, reporting on and removing these where required to maintain an up to date structure
  • Monitor, identify and drive updates to data anomalies on the HR System, liaising with the wider HR teams where required
  • Support business decision making by ensuring accurate and up to date organisational data
  • Create position templates with job and position data stored
  • Carry out regular position data maintenance
  • Carry out regular position management audit

Skills Required:


  • Educated to GSCE grade C or equivalent in English Language and Mathematics
  • Effectively research and gather data and know what's relevant and what isn't
  • Proven practical computing experience in the use of HR systems and MS office based systems (Success Factors desired)
  • Understanding of Organisational Design and department structures
  • Knowledge of how to navigate a large organisation
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive matters with a high standard of professionalism
  • Accountable and responsible, able to deliver outcomes effectively
  • Effective communication skills and ability to prioritise tasks in a fastpaced working environment
  • Excellent organisation, planning and time management skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative, motivated by achievement and completion of tasks
  • Be able to deal with ambiguity and understand and support the need for change
  • HR Shared Services experience or knowledge desirable
  • HR policy and process knowledge desired
  • Working knowledge of employment legislation advantageous
