Job summary:

  • Working in Affordable Housing with Sammy White who is the Senior Contracting and Operations Manager, leading the Contracting Operations team in Provider Services, you will play a critical role in the delivery of our multibillionpound Affordable Housing fund. You will be joining our small but enthusiastic and friendly team, who are committed to making positive change in how we deliver affordable housing and progressing our Providers into contract quickly.

Job description:

Sammy is dedicated to delivering a first-class customer service and taking an innovative and creative approach to contractual issues.

The Contracting team believes in working in a collaborative and flexible way, fostering good decision making and problem solving within their team, to unlock blockers and progress to contract.

This is a rare chance to shape the future of Affordable Housing delivery in a fast growing, national organisation with real social purpose.

Working with key stakeholders and a professional team you will ensure efficient, consistent and effective delivery and have the opportunity to be an integral part of creating homes across England.

This role requires handling the hard copy of our contracts when received into our London office and progressing them to completion.

Therefore, this role is predominantly office based within London.

Person specification:

Whilst our day job is to deliver first class customer service to our stakeholders on progressing Providers into contract, you will be used to "spinning several plates" at once and will always be looking for ways to improve and innovate.

You'll be comfortable supporting the wider Affordable Housing Grants team with contracting delivery, aiming to enter Providers into contract quickly, to allow payments to be advanced.

You will be proficient in time management and highly organised, having the ability to jump in and out of varying urgent demands.

Delivering on a mission as bold as ours isn't always easy.

You will be resilient and comfortable managing stakeholders at a senior level and your discussions will always be shaped by a good understanding of the commercial and operational impact of what we do as an Affordable Housing Grants team.

You will enjoy working in an innovative, fun and engaging way, and be able to negotiate as well as persuade.
