As a Barclays Senior EDD Manager, you will lead and facilitate EDD reviews of Correspondence Banking Relationships maintained by Corporate Bank.

The key focus of this role will be to identify and understand the AML/Terrorist Financing/Sanctions/ABC Risksassociated Correspondence Banking.

As part of this role you will make recommendations based on thorough EDD review to support the decision to maintain or exit relationships along with further EDD to mitigate the risks identified.

What will you be doing?:


  • Managing the resolution of complex cases by considering internal & external research to provide insightful judgments and recommendations
  • Chairing resolution meetings between KYC Operations, Coverage and Fin Crime to bring innovative solutions to drive resolution as necessary
  • Examining the details of cases nearing the completion deadline and providing recommendations to senior management across the business based on the risks assessed
  • Identifying breach cases within the portfolio and providing guidance to help support the requirements for closure which fall outside the normal workflow
  • Taking ownership of all forms of communications with clients to gather and investigate EDD information as well as displaying confidence at negotiating with senior stakeholders

What we're looking for:


  • Ability to work using own initiative to develop solid recommendations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional understanding of AML, CTF, ABC risk
  • Excellent Stakeholder management skills with the ability to have difficult conversations

  • Enthusiasm and high levels of drive
  • Relevant AML/CTF or ABC qualifications
  • Relationship management skills
  • Excellent report building and presentation skills
