Cladding & Roofing Estimator

Location:
Waltham Abbey Essex (Hybrid)
A well-established firm, our client specialises metal roofing for both commercial and residential properties.

As a Cladding & Roofing Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in preparing tenders and conducting take-offs from construction drawings.

Utilise Bluebeam estimating software for accurate take-offs.

• Attend handover meetings for secured projects.
• Manage project values ranging from £200k to £4M+.
• Assist the document controller in gathering quotes from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Support the document controller with technical submittals for secured projects.
• Collaborate with the design department on secured projects.

Ideally have 5 years of experience in flat roofing and rainscreen cladding.

• Good telephone skills with smart appearance.
• Comprehensive knowledge of non-combustible cladding solutions for high-rise buildings and fire barriers.
• Skilled in Excel, Word, Outlook, and Bluebeam.

Experience in estimating for CWCT Aluminium rainscreen cladding systems.

• Familiarity with estimating for cavity and fire barriers.
• Knowledge of Inverted hotmelt solutions, single ply warm roofs, tapered insulation schemes, three-layer felt warm roofs and cold applied liquids.
