Recruiter Health and Social Care


Hours of Work: 37.5 hours p/w


Salary:
£23,000 per annum


Experience Required

  • Occupational competence for the specialised vocational areas.
  • Considerable/proven experience of assessing/tutoring vocational qualifications
  • Demonstrable commitment to equality diversity and inclusion

Summary of Role:
You will be the essential link between sales and operations. Your role is to introduce and induct all new apprentices to their chosen apprenticeship framework.

This will include preparatory advice and guidance, invigilation of their initial skills checks, analysis of their results and assessment of their overall suitability to the programme.


Key to the role is the vocational expertise in your programme area to fully support the prospective apprenticeship ensuring that it is the most suitable programme for that individual.


Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities

  • Setting up and invigilating the initial skills checks for each apprentice, including WEST
  • Setting up the Moodle platform for the apprentice and ensuring a Smart Assessor account is available prior to induction visit.
  • Analysing all results to ensure that the most appropriate framework has been selected for the prospective apprentice
  • To ensure all compliance paperwork is completed accurately and timely
  • To provide a high level of vocational competence within the chosen programme area to deliver the first teaching session and to plan the ILP
  • To feedback any customer issues to the Programme Manager in a timely manner
  • Elements of the role may involve working with adults at risk, children and young people in an educational setting
  • Reviewing the safeguarding and wellbeing of learners and escalating through the appropriate process where required.
