Why is this Sales Support Team Lead position a great opportunity?


This role will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Sales Support function as well as supporting the Head of Sales Operations in negotiating the processes, interdepartmental representation, and scaling up in line with the Sales Team's growth strategy.


What skills and working characteristics should this person have?:

  • Management experience in a Sales Support or Sales related role
  • Excel Data management reporting
  • Experience working for an MSP or similar IT/Telecoms. (Desired)
  • Familiar with a highvolume fast paced office environment.
  • Ability to work within CRM (Dynamics, Hubspot).

As a Sales Support Team Lead, you'll be responsible for:

  • Team Lead for SSE headcount
  • Day-to-day management, 121s, goal setting, hiring, utilisation and accountability for team success.
  • Management of CRM hygiene via sanity checking and approvals.
  • Assisting the Head of Sales Operations with sales figures, metrics, meeting notes and other relevant information for accurate reporting and commentary.
  • Escalation point for customers and internal issues.
  • Opportunity management for teamsupported accounts.
  • Overall view and management of the Sales board tickets and routing to relevant team members.
  • Proactive Process reviews and execution of improvements.
  • Report on SS team activity and utilisation, cover over leave and other absences.
  • Supporting the sales team with building sales Quotes and proposals.
  • Obtaining thirdparty quotations.
  • Placing customer orders with the procurement team.
  • Managing subscription renewals.
  • Supporting Account Managers with account planning.
  • Consulting with finance on invoicing queries.
  • Project managing clientfacing activity such as Price rises and Optout charging.
  • Maintain Microsoft certifications of the group and support other partner accreditation requirements.
  • Onboarding planning for SSEs and Sales New Starts.
  • Training new SSEs and the Sales team as the team grows and evolves.
