Are you an experienced Estates Surveyor who can help us to successfully deliver Scottish Water's Capital Investment Programme?

We are delighted to say that a rare opportunity to join our nation-wide Land and Estates Team has recently become available to join us here at Scottish Water.

What might this role involve?


As an Estates Surveyor at Scottish Water, your core focus will be to provide professional property advice to our capital programme teams for acquisitions and statutory claims.


You will be responsible for the delivery of land entry and land purchase for projects across your area and you will have the opportunity to work proactively as part of a large multi-disciplinary department.

You should be an enthusiastic and customer-driven Estates Surveyor, whilst also being able to demonstrate the following:

  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • this role involves working closely with our internal and external stakeholders, community groups and external customers and previous experience in a similar role would be beneficial.
  • Proven team collaboration skills
  • you must be a team player and be able to proactively work within a large multi-disciplinary department
  • Time management skills
  • you must be able to effectively manage your own workload
  • Keen initiative and an appetite for continuous learning
  • Proficient IT and numeracy skills
  • MRICS qualification
  • Full current driving license

The salary range for this role will be £35,384 to £47,924 (dependent on skills and experience)

This role will be primarily based at our Glasgow office (The Bridge) in Stepps.
